On Great and Holy Wednesday, April 23rd, nearly 50 people gathered to be annointed with Holy Unction for the healing of soul and body.

The Church's practice of anointing with holy oil for the healing of soul and body dates back to Apostolic times, when St. James wrote, "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the presbyters (priests) of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord." (James 5:14)
