On Clean Monday, a quiet snowfall descended upon Christ the Savior Orthodox Church in Berlin, wrapping the Parish Center and forest in white. As we began the Great Fast, the earth itself seemed to preach repentance. The prophet declares, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow” (Isaiah 1:18).
